Spanish 2 Course Description:
Students will learn a variety of tenses, including the subjunctive and compound tenses. Vocabulary will be enhanced by studying Spanish Literature. Syntax in speaking and writing will be stressed, students must have successfully completed Spanish 1. A continuation of Spanish culture, traditions, and folklore will occur with emphasis on Southwest Folklore.

Spanish III Honors Course Description.
Successful completion of Spanish II with a B average is a pre-requisite for Spanish III. The course offers college credit via Eastern Arizona College. A rigorous study of grammar, vocabulary, syntax, literature and culture will be presented. Students will present oral presentations and with video equipment they will be able to view, correct and improve on their speaking abilities. Additionally, a research paper will be required in the Spring Semester, additional research papers will be assigned at the discretion of Mr. Chavez.
