Practical Business Mathematics is a two-semester course that teaches basic skills for financial situations. This course applies students' interpretation of basic mathematical concepts to common business usage covering topics such as basic computations, fractions, decimals, percentages, bank transactions, trade/cash discounts, markup and markdown, business statistics, payroll deductions, interest, notes and percent value calculation, interest, trade, bank and cash discounts, payroll, time value of money, and business loans among others.
